This morning dawned clear and cool. In this picture taken before sunrise of the Kingston Lighthouse you can just make out some rowers out enjoying the early calm on the river.

Last night was our first clear dry night and many students chose to sleep out on the weather deck. It was a chilly night as evidenced by the nylon cocoons scattered about.

          Sunrise.

The Times Union visited the ship. Photographer Philip Kamrass  learned to climb in the rig. Tough assignment!

All of the students have been working hard on individual data collection and an associatedprojects. Here Alberto and Ms. Davis work on his project on the weather.
