Today we rose early and sailed north away from New York City.

Sunrise in NYC

Our Captain

Ms. Farrell is helping Nick think about what to do with his project.  His job is to watch the moon at night and report how far it is from the horizon.
Working hard sailing the ship!!!!!

Mr. Terry is patently waiting for the computer to load up to get up the pages.

Journal Log from Jaimie:

Today we set the sail.  Everything is going great.  I have lots of friends.  Everyone is so nice here.  Theyh seem to have fun, me too.  We got up at six am and were off.  We got tee shirts that have a boat on them.  Well, everyone is so nice and fun to be around and hard workers.

More time to relax and have fun!!
After living on the boat for 3 and a half days, the crew was asked to scrub ship.  This means that everyone is involved.  We have to get water out of the river and dump it on to the decks and scrub.  However, we do not use soap.  Just water and muscle power.
