The Replica Ship Half Moon spends its operating seasons traveling the three rivers that traditionally defined the territory of New Netherland: the Hudson, the Connecticut, and the Delaware. Our travels usually incorporate Voyage of Discovery programs or other special projects, but sometimes, the Half Moon simply needs to reach its next port of call.

For this transit voyage, our volunteer crew, composed of both returning sailors and new hands, is transporting the Half Moon from its summer berth at Peckham Materials in Athens, NY, to our frequent host, the Atlantic Salt facility at Staten Island, NY. Following the conclusion of this voyage, the Half Moon will launch the Founder's Voyage.
