6th Entry, 1559 Hours: After we traverse Hell Gate and pass between the Brothers Islands, the strait begins to widen; the Half Moon is now entering Long Island Sound. Gusting winds pick up as we pass under Throgs Neck Bridge; note that we're heeled this far over without the sails set. With the sun setting, there's no time to set sails today, but we expect strong sailing tomorrow.
