Entry Three, Part 2 of 8: 1502 Hours: As we continue to sail through Haverstraw Bay, Captain Reynolds calls for a crew meeting. While we haven't seen any lightning or heard any thunder, the dense humidity and low barometric pressure we're experiencing is prone to spawning sudden thunderstorms. Rather than wait for such a squall to suddenly appear, the captain has decided that it's best to douse and furl the sails now, while we can attend to the task in a relaxed manner.
