The Half Moon, docked at King Marine on an overcast day.

At long last, Spring has returned to New York's Hudson River Valley and the Replica Ship Half Moon is ready to begin its 2007 season. As our volunteer crew descends on the ship, we begin at our usual winter berthing in Verplanck, NY, thanks to our generous host at King Marine. Once we depart, we'll make our way north to another of our frequent hosts, Peckham Materials in Athens, NY, where we'll spend the next few weeks conducting standard maintenance, installing material upgrades, and performing some interesting tests on the ship in preparation for the summer months.
