1st Entry, 0800 Hours: As Day Three of our Voyage of Discovery begins, the Half Moon is anchored off the Palisades, just north of New York City. Our schedule today is largely determined by the tides; we need to enter the East River just as the flood tide begins. Because of this, we're in no particular rush to get moving this morning.
