4th Entry, 1651 Hours: By using directional compasses to mark the bearing of known landmarks (and we happen to have some extremely well-known landmarks nearby), the students learn how to triangulate our position on the chart. Learning how to handle a directional compass will also come in handy for the Celestial Tracking research team when they start their project.
