The 2010 Fresh River Voyage of Discovery stands at the heart of a month-long series of activities surrounding the Half Moon's expedition up the Connecticut River. Keep checking back as we update this page!

October 2-7: Transit Voyage. In preparation for our Voyage of Discovery, the Half Moon sailed from Albany, NY to New London, CT at the start of October.

October 18-22 & 25-28: School Tours. The Half Moon spent two weeks engaged in dockside educational programs with students at the Connecticut River Academy.

October 23-24: Public Tours. The Half Moon was open to the public for historical tours this weekend.

Special Events. The Half Moon served as the centerpiece to several group events during our stay, including meetings of the Holland Society and the East Hartford Chamber of Commerse, as well as an Oktoberfest-themed Goodwin President's Reception!

November 2-4: Transit Voyage. Following our visit to Connecticut, the Half Moon concluded the 2010 operating season by sailing back to Verplanck, NY and moving the ship into its winter berth.
