4th Entry, 1550 Hours: Our original plan for the day was to continue downriver as far as we could, ideally reaching Bay Ridge Flats in Upper New York Harbor for tonight's anchorage. While that's still achievable, it does mean spending the rest of the day underway and another late-night anchorage. Captain Reynolds elects to alter our itinerary and come to an early rest. Down on the orlop deck, Mr. Hotterstein again secures the anchor rode after the captain gives the command to set the anchor.
