3rd Entry, 1122 Hours: Only after the Half Moon has cleared the two bridges can we consider ourselves to have truly entered the Connecticut River. With the ship now officially inland, Mr. Shorthouse zips ahead on an away mission with members of the Salinity team. The students quickly check out the salt marshes at the river's mouth, collecting plant and soil samples to analyze back on the ship.
