Hello, my name is Mary. I'm thirteen years old and in the 8th grade. Last school year, my science teacher asked my class who wanted to partake in the Voyage of Discovery. I immediately raised my hand as I thought of my older sister who has already sailed on the Half Moon and the hard work I am willing to overcome. The next day came and my science teacher told me that she wanted me to be on the trip. I got a tad excited due to this. I eventually got the message and was picked.
